This three-story, 60,000 SF corporate upfit for Novant Health consolidated offices from six different locations in Charlotte. Office standards were developed, yielding 8x8 workstations and modest-sized perimeter offices. To facilitate the high demand for meeting space, large and small conference rooms were placed on all three floors. Three adjoining conference rooms on the second floor contain moveable partitions and open up for company-wide meetings, holding up to 64 people.
Recessed areas to showcase artwork are located long core walls. Textures are similar, but color varies by floor to enhance wayfinding.
In their shift from a 100% private office environment to one that includes open office areas, the workstation standards include high panels, glass transoms, and translucent sliding doors.
A waiting area is incorporated into the open office environment near the executive suite.
A private foundation is affiliated with this not-for-profit healthcare organization, and a separate office suite was included for this group. Finishes are related to the remained of the space and are stepped up a notch.
A large multi-purpose meeting room is located on the 2nd floor and is divisible into three separate meeting rooms. Lighting and audio-visual systems are capable of being combined or divided as needed. Markerboards are incorporated into the moveable walls.
