+ Bank of North Carolina Southpark
LAMBERT was engaged by the Bank of North Carolina to complete this facility within the rapidly-growing Southpark area of Charlotte. This building reflects its modern, upscale surroundings while still retaining the Bank of North Carolina brand. A branch bank on the first floor provides financial transaction space with online banking areas and tellers, while the seond floor offers a board room, private offices, and open workspace.
Bank of North Carolina's urban design matches the context of the surrounding Southpark environment.
The branch bank on the first floor not only provides financial transaction space with online banking areas and tellers, but also houses seven offices and two open office stations for personnel.
The open first-floor lobby, complete with a fireplace, brings in daylighting through a two-story exterior curtainwall. This glass paneling operates in a two-fold manner by bringing light in, and also allowing a two-story mural (complete with Bank of North Carolina cardinal) to be seen from the road, reinforcing the bank’s brand.
A lobby area greets visitors at the top of the stairs, and acts as a check-in point before reaching the workspace area. Private and open offices are arranged here on the second floor.
A large conference area overlooks Charlotte's busy Southpark district.
